Non-Discrimination Policy Statement
National University does not discriminate in its employment practices or in its educational programs or activities on the basis of protected characteristics under applicable federal, state or local law. National University also prohibits retaliation against any person opposing discrimination or participating in any discrimination investigation or complaint process internally or externally. Reports of misconduct, questions and concerns about noncompliance should be directed to the Title IX Coordinator. This Policy and procedures supersede any previous policies addressing harassment, sexual misconduct, discrimination, and/or retaliation for incidents occurring on or after August 14, 2020, under Title IX and will be reviewed and updated annually by the Title IX Coordinator. The University reserves the right to make changes to this document as necessary, and once those changes are posted online, they are in effect. If government laws or regulations change–or court decisions alter–the requirements in a way that impacts this document, this document will be construed to comply with the most recent government laws or regulations or court holdings.

Pregnancy and Parenting Policy Statement
National University is committed to creating and maintaining a community where all individuals enjoy freedom from discrimination, including discrimination on the basis of sex, as mandated by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Sex discrimination, which can include discrimination based on pregnancy, marital status, or parental status, is prohibited and illegal in admissions, educational programs and activities, hiring, leave policies, employment policies, and health insurance coverage. National University has established a policy and procedures for ensuring the protection and equal treatment of pregnant persons, individuals with pregnancy-related conditions, and new parents.
