La Jolla, Calif. – National University provides more master’s degrees in education to Native Americans than any other college or university in California, according to Diverse Issues in Higher Education

In total, National University conferred 19 master’s degrees in education to Native Americans in the 2005-2006 academic year.

Diverse Issues in Higher Education publishes its annual rankings of the top 100 colleges and universities providing graduate degrees to minority students each July. The rankings are based upon data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Graduates and credential recipients from National University’s School of Education are recognized as some of the best educators in California, based upon assessments from the National Blue Ribbon School competition, the California Distinguished School Program and several Teacher of the Year competitions.
