San Diego, Calif. – National University, the second-largest private, nonprofit institution of higher education in California and the 12th-largest in the United States, and the Center for Cultural and Ethnic Studies will be hosting the fourth annual EcoFair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at National’s Spectrum Business Park Campus located at 9388 Lightwave Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. Admission and parking are free.
EcoFair is part of National University’s community outreach efforts to educate and demonstrate concepts about environmental and economic sustainability and stewardship. This year’s theme is “Save Green by Going Green,” which promotes household solutions that are earth-friendly and ultimately wallet-friendly.
EcoFair will feature informational booths and demonstrations from local companies, government agencies, and NGOs, plus environmentally-friendly activities for families and children.
Information about National University’s environmentally-focused degree programs, specifically the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, the Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, and the Master of Science in Sustainability Management, will be available at EcoFair.
