CP Intern Seminar A
Course Description
Meets concurrently with ITL 650A CP Internship A: Year 1. Interns reflect as the teachers of record in their K-12 classrooms and apply the six Teaching Performance Expectation (TPEs) composing the 45 TPE Elements needed to pass CalTPA Cycle 1. Grading is S, U or In Progress (IP).
Learning Outcomes
- Apply the six Teaching Performance Expectation (TPEs) domains composed of 45 TPE elements to successfully pass CalTPA Cycle 1.
- Evaluate the integrative electronic Showcase reflecting a deeper understanding and more complex perspectives of the professional development growth experienced through first half of the internship, the Inspire(d) mindset and principles, Teaching Performance Expectations, pedagogical research, and teaching beliefs and practices.
Requirements
- Students (interns) are expected to be in good standing with their employers and National University for the duration of the active University Internship Teaching Credential.
