Introduction to e-Teaching
Course Description
Traces the evolution of online learning to its current state. Course content includes the legal, ethical and behavioral issues as well as the professional standards required for the delivery of exemplary online instruction.
Learning Outcomes
- Analyze the historical benchmarks that have contributed to the evolution of online instruction
- Apply knowledge of the legal, ethical and behavioral issues to authentic instructional scenarios
- Create an evaluation rubric based on the professional standards required for the delivery of exemplary online instruction.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of online instruction using the rubric developed in the class.
