Foundations of ECE Advocacy
Course Description
Examines a variety of strategies to advocate for and advance the Early Childhood Education profession. Includes grant writing skills, awareness of public policy issues, and effective political action strategies.
Learning Outcomes
- Evaluate common advocacy strategies to include grant writing, public policy awareness and political action strategies.
- Analyze strengths and challenges in relationship to need and outcomes.
- Develop a plan to utilize a specific advocacy strategy that supports a line of practitioner inquiry.
