Course Description
Guidelines on planning, designing and organizing physical learning environments for young children. Understanding, comparing, integrating theoretical frameworks on indoor and outdoor environments.
Learning Outcomes
- Apply different perspectives, in the planning, design and implementation of a safe, caring and inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Assess indoor and outdoor environments to determine that a safe, healthful and inclusive learning environment exists in which appropriate experiences are implemented.
- Develop an annual budget that supports the overall operation of a safe, caring and inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- Demonstrate how diversity and meeting the special needs of children can be integrated in planning learning environments.
