Course Description
In depth exploration of the historical foundations of ethical decision making and how it informs the criminal justice system. Particular attention to the relationship of critical thinking skills and ethical decision making to current issues.
Learning Outcomes
- Examine the role and impact of morals, values, ethics and critical thinking in criminal justice system decisions.
- Assess the role and implications of ethics in decision making–by police, prosecutors and correctional settings.
