Dr. Michelle Browning
Dr. Michelle Browning earned her B.S. in Education from Auburn University; MBA from Southern Methodist University; M.A. in Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute; and Ph.D. in Policy and Planning from The University of Southern California. With 19 years at National University and as a professor for The College of Law and Public Service, Dr. Browning serves as Academic Program Director for NU’s Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership Program and Lead Faculty for the Los Angeles Region.
Dr. Browning’s research focus includes strategic planning, diversity, transformational leadership, and emotional intelligence. Through her research as National University’s Teaching and Learning Fellow, Dr. Browning is currently exploring the challenges related to enhancing student enrollment, retention, and completion within higher education and seeks to provide possible solutions to challenges utilizing tenets of servant leadership.
