Health Sciences Independent Study

Course Description

Opportunity to focus on a health coaching topic of interest. Students propose an area for study with faculty guidance and determine a topic. The outcome is a project focused research paper which results in the development o f a coaching application, tool or training method.

Learning Outcomes

• Complete a research paper/project proposal.
• Write a final paper that further develops the student’s coaching practice, as well as their coaching toolkit.
• Demonstrate in depth knowledge of an aspect of health coaching.
• Develop a coaching tool(s) to target and facilitate growth in their coaching clients.
