Evidence Based Practice
Course Description
Overview of evidence-based research and practices and the relevance to the future of integrative health. Will examine basic methodologies used to generate and test clinical research questions. Review of seminal research endeavors and relevance to integrative health practices. Current challenges in evidence-based research in integrative health will be reviewed.

- Analyze literature relevant to issues in complementary and alternative healthcare.
- Examine evidence-based practices and the applications to complementary and integrative health.
- Differentiate fundamental methodological challenges in conducting evidence-based research in complementary and integrative health.
- Formulate recommendations for practice based on current research in complementary and integrative healthcare.
