Dr. Shatha Jawad

Dr. Shatha Jawad has more than 22 years of experience in teaching and more than three years as a software engineer. She had UNESCO Fellowship in the field of Information and Communication Technologies, in 2002. Her Ph.D. in computer engineering. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses to over 1000 students in computer science, computer engineering and management information systems. She supervised over 100 bachelor and master students’ projects. She has worked as a software engineer and web developer for Eastridge Workforce Solutions and other companies in San Diego. She has published many research papers. Her research interests are in operating systems, system software, artificial intelligence, neural networks, fuzzy logic, image recognition, quantum computing, and computer science education.
