Computer Aided Engineering II
Course Description
Introduction to the powerful computer aided design package SolidWorks for mechanical design applications, modeling and analysis.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand major concepts embedded into the SolidWorks software package.
- Apply SolidWorks commands and procedures.
- Utilize modeling capabilities of SolidWorks for actual mechanical design projects.
- Implement SolidWorks’ techniques for design of particular mechanical parts, such as nuts, bolts, bearings, and retaining rings.
