Course Description
This course examines trends in curriculum and ‘andragogy’ as they apply to higher education programs. This examination includes an in-depth analysis of modes of delivery such as online, onsite, and hybrid methods.
Learning Outcomes
- Compare and contrast andragogy with pedagogy.
- Analyze effective curriculum and instruction through the lens of relevant research in learning and application of knowledge.
- Summarize strategies that enable learners to engage in higher-order thinking such as critical analysis.
- Investigate the role higher education plays in fostering a citizen and worker in the global society and economy.
