Course Description
Facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of teaching and learning supported by the school community. For candidates in Santa Clara County Office/NU joint program only.
Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural pluralism, economic and social diversity, and the demographics which affect school-community relations.
- Construct an effective school public relations program.
- Apply theoretical and practical roles aspects of organizational development within a school or school district.
- Develop skills to contribute to a school environment committed to improving teaching for all staff and learning for all students, and develop shared leadership skills.
- Apply the process of change in building an effective instructional program.
