Cyber Security Technology

Course Description

Examines the environment to be secured, and defines the attributes of that environment. Includes securing the environment, security technologies in the environment, security threats and security responses.

Learning Outcomes

• Illustrate by cases the dynamic relationship of humans, processes and the technology usage.
• Analyze techniques to mitigate malicious software attacks.
• Explain how authentication is used with cryptography to secure information access.
• Write a report on the testing of a virtual machine for usage in lab exercises.
