Cyber Threat Intelligence

Course Description

An exploration of the tools and techniques to collect and analyze cyber threat information. The class will cover the collection and analysis of log data, threat intelligence data, and Indicators of Compromise to detect malicious activity.

Learning Outcomes

  • Examine the tools and techniques for collecting cyber threat intelligence.
  • Identify the bad actors in cyberspace and compare and contrast their resources, capabilities/techniques, motivations, aversion to risk.
  • Utilize Indicators of Compromise to Detect a Threat.
