Healthcare Internship
Course Description
Minimum of 120 hours of structured work experience in a healthcare organization under the direct supervision of one or more experienced healthcare managers. Grading is by S or U only. Course is eligible for an ‘IP’ grade.
Learning Outcomes
- Apply the professional knowledge and skills learned in didactic healthcare administration courses to work in healthcare administrative.
- Plan and complete one or more supervised applied project (s) related to healthcare administration in an approved healthcare organization.
- Write a report demonstrating the successful integration of academic knowledge and skills to management problems in a healthcare organization.
